What is a vent alarm (also known as a whistle)?
A vent alarm, usually a tube, is installed between your tank and the vent pipe. It signals when the tank is full.
Why install a vent alarm?
A vent alarm system minimizes the chances of oil spills and overfills. The cost of the cleanup and repair from a spill can be anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars.
